PLEASE spare 2 minutes and watch this clip where George Conway explains: TRO = Temporary Restraining Order It is an ‘injunction’ by a court judge to stop someone from doing something before an actual court case happens If someone disobeys the court order and does the thing anyway, the U.S Marshals or the FBI would arrest the person However, both of those law enforcement agencies answer directly to the president If any court orders are disregarded by the Trump administration, who would enforce the injunction then? At that point, the law of the land would essentially cease to exist. If this happens, then America would become an actual tyrannical government, no ifs no buts about it. By defying court orders, Trump would be declaring himself unstoppable and rendering checks and balances – the judicial and legislative branches of government – useless. There are already reports that the Trump administration could be failing to fully comply with court orders regarding federal funding to the states. “We’re talking about sociopaths. We’re talking about people with no morals… no conscience. Why would they obey a court order?” This could be considered a fatal flaw in the system that the founding fathers did not prepare for. Our country is in very non-normal times. He cannot be fought in the courts. Public servants in the other two branches of government must start to come up with equally non-normal responses to his actions. Otherwise, our government and the rule of law will collapse and be replaced by a new system that is self-serving to the President and those that immediately surround him.
